I found the course good as I could do it online and not in groups. Some bits found it bit not for me but other steps were good and interesting to do .

I have found the course to be extremely helpful and enlightening. Gaining more knowledge in how I can control my pain intensity is very beneficial. My problems stem from Radiotherapy damage to my abdomen after having advanced cancer of the cervix. Internal damage resulted in my having a Colostomy and an Urostomy Stoma formed 16 years ago. I had Adhesiolysis Surgery 5 years ago to help with persistent bowel stricture, both stomas were reformed, unfortunately the problem has recently recurred causing acute abdominal pain with sickness. Your relaxation tapes are immensely helpful to help me control the pain and get through each abdominal spasm. Thank you so very much. Learning to pace myself has helped a great deal and I can manage to get through daily chores a little easier. I do find some of the exercises painful. I find the course very beneficial and will continue to make your advice part of my daily routine.

Since doing the course I have been doing my exercises every day and found that I'm managing my condition a lot better. The pain never goes away but I can get on with my everyday life. So a huge thank you to you all.

Doing this course hasn't changed our situation much - we still have pain and are still very tired because of it. So why should you bother? It is not a magic wand but it certainly counts close as the next best thing. The professionals interviewed here give confidence that they really understand your problems and are working hard to help - they really do care. The counsel they give, the exercises to work through and the audio clips provided come together to form a useful set of tools that *will* help you to navigate through your situation. Not only will it help you begin to feel more settled and confident, it will help you to make real progress - the kind that is classed as success. It took us some time to finish the course because of our issues; we were frequently delayed for one reason and another. Nevertheless, when resuming the sessions it was surprising just how intuitive and quickly joined-up everything became. Definitely time well spent. Definitely something we'd struggle without.

I can't thank you all, or back2health enough for giving me my life back. My pain, for years, dictated how I lived my life and stopped me doing things as I was too afraid of the pain. Now, with simple exercise and understanding, I am able to live my life fuller. I know how far I can push myself and even a little further, with the techniques you've shown me. This is something I will continue to use and enjoy feeling normal again. Thank you so very much.

This course has been far better than I expected. In particular I have found the meditation very helpful. The whole experience has given me a positive outlook on life. I cannot begin to tell you what a difference this course has already made to my life. Thank you so much, I feel much more positive now about managing my chronic pain.

I really enjoyed the course it covered much more than I anticipated. It was well structured and it was also well delivered and varied. As I usually go at top speed at things, this was very nice only to be able to do a fraction at a time. I'm very pleased that I did this course as I have actually made time for myself.

I didn't realise there is so much to learn about pain and I thought I knew a fair amount. The course is valuable as it has helped me come to terms with my Chronic Pain diagnosis as I worked through the steps. It wasn't always easy to be motivated, but after completing a stage I felt better, enlightened and empowered by the knowledge. I have learned not to be so afraid of my pain and to own my condition and have better input in treatment and explaining any changes in my condition. Thank you for helping me.

I was a little sceptical prior to starting the course as to how pain could be managed via an online programme. I have just completed the course though and am so glad that I was able to participate in the programme. I learnt so much that will help me in managing my pain, including pacing, relaxation techniques, stretching, exercising, mindfulness, sleeping tips and changing unhelpful thought processes. I would recommend this course to anyone living with long-term chronic pain, whatever the cause.

The course it well set up and a great help to anyone in persistent pain. It has easy to follow instructions with just the right amount to deal with each time you log on. Face to face chat with a specialist in their subject makes you feel you are not alone. Would highly recommend this course.

I have actually enjoyed doing the course because it has been a regular reminder to take stock and take care. I really love all the meditations and will use them regularly - they help when the pain is bad and do actually reduce it. This just shows that getting rid of any tension/stress is so important in managing pain.

I was not looking forward to doing this online course. I have to say I have learnt and taken so much from it and have thoroughly enjoyed partaking in it. It has been brilliantly done and the professionals that play their part are all excellent. Totally brilliant and thank you. It was very uplifting.

I'm so happy that the physio at the hospital enrolled me for this course, it's made me think about myself more and the pain I'm in. I play the relaxing video when I need it, and it does help, it also makes you take some time for yourself and that's important. I look at my pain differently now, I don't take as many painkillers, I've lost weight, and feel much better in myself. Thank you team.

I have found the course to be helpful and thought provoking. I was definitely seeing my pain as bad thoughts and although my pain hasn't reduced in the scale from the start of the course through to the end of the course...my anxiety and depression and overall health has! I am still taking painkillers but have started to reduce them and feel more in control than I did. Thank you.
