I am struggling with this part because I cannot really separate the content here from the physical exercises given to me by my physiotherapist. My only affirmation is to walk for an hour. I haven't put it to the test yet but I will say that I would not have identified this before the program started. Maybe this program isn't for me.

Although I was sceptical at the beginning, I found some of this very helpful. As someone who suffers from pain everyday but also works full-time the balance is never right for me but from these videos I have gained some insight into how I can and must incorporate some mindfulness and focused exercise into my day. It is tempting to say that I do 10,000 steps everyday darting round site but this is not care specific, it is a necessity. From this I have learnt that I am not doing more damage by pushing myself to keep going; to stretch rather than flump exhausted on the sofa at the end of the day and feel twice as bad. The meditation videos are really good.

Definitely changes the way that you consider living with chronic pain, the understanding of flare-ups and how to approach asking for help from others who do not understand, was very helpful. As was the advice regarding changing the way you think, yes the pain may be bad today, but I can manage it and I do not need to feel worried that more pain means more harm or damage. I would say to others, give it a go, you have nothing to lose and if you come away with just one thing from the course that helps with the pain, then it is truly worth it, especially, if like me, you have days where you are so down due to the pain that it makes you cry....alot!

This program has done nothing to help me and I wouldn't recommend it to others. I would suggest anyone who has chronic pain to seek out forums and groups that can share their experiences in a way to help each other. Do your own research and arm yourself with the knowledge to take forward to your Doctor, you will know what will work for you and in turn you will be in a better head space to accept treatment that works for you too.

For people who are new to chronic pain this would probably be a great course. Unfortunately I can't think of anyone who has been living with pain for some time that wouldn't already be familiar and utilising the techniques discussed in this video as it isn't anything new or not easily available info when Internet searching how to cope with pain.

The course was very interesting, especially to see and hear from so many different specialists. I did find some parts of the course useful and still use them today. My pain hasn’t changed much however I have now got more tools available to help me control it when my pain does flare up.

This programme isn't a quick fix that will make pain go away magically. Instead, it provides a framework of advice and techniques for managing chronic, debilitating pain so that it doesn't take over your whole life. I found it immensely helpful to be given this toolkit.

I'm still learning to use the programme but it's been interesting to actually understand why I have felt the way have at different points during my journey with pain and learning to live with it. I personally don't think their is anything that could improve the program.

Along with the pathway through pain and Tai Chi I am in a much better place, I feel happier and more relaxed and find now that I’m taking less tablets the ones that I do take are working much better and are doing the job that they were meant for.

I’ve found the course helpful and supportive. Being in chronic pain and having severe exhaustion on a daily basis is very lowering and the healthcare professionals on this course appreciate that it is a very debilitating situation to be in and that it has a profound effect on your everyday life. Hopefully step by step, the advice and support given on this course will improve my quality of life.

I have found this course very helpful as I can now manage pain through relaxation and meditation, I now also drink 1 cup of camomile tea at night just before I listen to my guided sleep meditation and I have found that I sleep about 5.5-6 hours night instead of 2-3 hours, I also have reached two of my goals, one was to lose weight which I have done through exercise and the other was to be healthier, which I have done also through exercise but also by changing my diet to eat more protein, fibre etc
